There is an astonishing amount of ignorance
about the basic facts of the so-called
Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Notice that the documentary never mentions why these people are refugees and where they were living just a short time before. So the inability to face cause and effect existed back in 1950 as well.

This footage was shot in the late 1940s to educate the public about the plight of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who had been made homeless as a result of the creation of the state of Israel in Palestine by force, displacing the Palestinians that lived there.

What most Palestinians thought would be a temporary dislocation lasting only a few weeks at most became permanent. Homeless with just the clothes on their backs, they were left in the desert without food, water, and medical care to die.
