“BILLIONAIRES
FOR WAR” TO MAKE AN APPEARANCE AT POST OFFICE
ON APRIL 15TH
WEALTHY
WAR CONTRACTORS WILL THANK TAXPAYERS FOR THEIR MONEY
Billionaires
for War (BFW) a coalition of local military contractors,
donors to the Two Party System and supporters of war,
in Iraq and
elsewhere, will appear at the Willow Glen Post Office
at 1750 Meridian
Avenue, San Jose, at 6:00 p.m. on Tax Day, April 15,
to thank taxpayers
for their generous support of weapons manufacturers,
oil companies, and
construction firms receiving generous contracts with
U.S. tax dollars.
"We are thrilled that the $200-billion
war on Iraq is proving to be a cash
cow for corporations, especially those with connections
to the White House,
Congress, and the Pentagon" stated Beck Tell,
spokesperson for the group.
Halle Burton, another BFW member, added "We look
forward to rebuilding
the oil fields in Iraq and we promise we will do a
really, really good job."
BFW member Lock Heedmartin emphasized
that the group will be celebrating
Tax Day this year as a time when their profits, stock
prices, and
executive compensation will be soaring as high as
the missiles in the
skies over Baghdad. "No gloomy faces for us billionaires
on Tax Day",
Heedmartin stated, "so we will be out there in
front of the post office
on April 15 to personally thank the taxpayers, and
maybe drink a little
champaign."
