| Cuba faced
a period of serious crisis after the collapse of the
Soviet Union. To overcome the crisis and to feed its
people, it directed its energies to developing urban
and organic agriculture. It was not only able to solve
all its agricultural problems, but became the world
leader in the field. Dr. Koont will tell about Cuba’s
achievements and how Venezuela has also been learning
from them. |
